SSD Management, Inc. is the parent company of Side Street Deli, Side Street Catering and Side Street Foodservice Management. Side Street Deli became a staple in the Indianapolis, In area in 1998, offering the freshest taste in sandwiches, salads, soups and friendly customer service. Pride is taken in food preparation at Side Street. The best quality meats are chosen for sandwiches and sliced fresh daily. Our specialty salads and soups are prepared fresh according to Chef Wheaton’s own recipes. Pastries are baked on premise.
In 2004, the Wheaton Family decided to expand their fresh and healthy concept of Side Street Deli into the areas of catering and foodservice management, forming SSD Management, Inc. SSD Management, Inc is committed to upholding the same standards of Side Street Deli throughout all divisions of the company. Our goal is to be a favorite in casual dining, catering, and food service management, opening several locations in the Midwest
Over the next several years we plan to open small food service operations in various venues and neighborhoods throughout Indiana and surrounding markets. Our ultimate goal is to open a landmark restaurant offering traditional meals prepared in a non-traditional style.
